FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I am in-network with most insurance companies through two platforms: Rula and Headway. For clients paying out-of-pocket, my private rate is $185 per session.
What are the costs of online therapy?
If you’re using insurance, you’ll be responsible for your copay and/or deductible at each session—similar to a doctor’s visit. You can contact your insurance provider to confirm your mental health coverage.

If you’d like to use out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Please note: insurance does not cover late cancellations or missed sessions, so those fees are the client’s responsibility.
Do you provide in-person therapy?
At this time, I’m offering virtual sessions only for clients anywhere in California. Online therapy allows for flexibility and comfort—you can connect from your home, office, or wherever you feel most at ease.
Is online therapy as effective as in-person therapy?
Yes. Research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions for many concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional challenges. It also offers added benefits—like convenience, accessibility for those in rural areas, and the ability to meet from a space where you feel most comfortable.
What does the first session look like?
The first one or two sessions are focused on getting to know you. I’ll ask questions about your background, history, and what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll also explore what you’d like to work on and what goals feel most important right now. These early sessions are about building trust and creating a safe, supportive space to begin your healing process.
